I started mw3 then few seconds later it says image file corrupt. I verified game files on steam and redownload all the dlcs and such. it still happens

It doesn't say what image file. I was able to play before. I think it has to do with custom textures, because that's what's happening to me right now.

Post a screenshot of that error message.

Also delete any custom IWDs that you might have on "main" folder.
