So it really is the reason of all this crap? so you really are need to remember the server you are joining with and just reconnect to it after the server is timed out? If so then there must be a sticky'd info about this because this is probably the reason why 4d1 only has a few servers with players around since they always get time out in the servers, making the players leave the game and just say never mind i'll play when things are fixed. I myself have tried this and it actually worked but I never realized that I was able to play long without the time out because I rejoined the server where I got a timed out at first join. gonna try this trick again when I'm home... Thanks goes to [C]loud...

Confirmed... It does the job just rejoin the server where you are getting connection timed out error after seconds of having been able to join...
