My server works fine thanks to all tutorials and support. I can connect to it using connect (localip:game port) but as normal client not private. It's not possible to enter the password because my server doesn't show up in the server list in the game. Is it possible to connect as private client without the need to enter password inside game?

Open the console and type:

password [pass]

Now you can connect using the console.

This has already been tested by other server admins and it did the trick for them

I can't set private clients properly, when I set it to 2, server will show max 16 players instead of 18, and when I connect it didn't even prompt for the private password.

I believe it only asks for a password when the allocated 16 slots are filled. As for it only showing 16 slots, that's because the other 2 slots are private
