I would like to start by saying I'm not a super smart guy when it comes to computers. Anyways, I have a bunch of games for my PC. Battlefield 3 and MW2, more specifically fourdeltaone, are the games I am going to be asking about. So, on my PC, I can run Battlefield 3 at a steady 40-50 fps and I enjoy it, but when I play fourdeltaone MW2, I will get 50 fps is some places and as low as 15 fps in other place. I play with a 1024x768 screen resolution and all the settings on low, but I still get the very common fps drops. It seems like I would have more trouble running Battlefield 3 instead of MW2. Is there anything you guys can recommend to fix this problem?

Check if your PC is not running it with the integrated processor -

 

 

If it is, click on the High performance NVIDIA card and it would work good.

I forgot to mention, I am also running on a laptop.
