I'm new and have some questions

1st question.

1.) for the server list on iw5mp when i want to play the servers i always play and press history, why doesn't it show up server??? Same with Favorites i put servers on favorite.

 

2.) when I try to connect to a server, ( some ) it is like 30 ping, but when i get in = my ping is 150???

 

3.) When I try to change my fov with cg_fov *** it doesnt work in *console*

 

Please help and reply asap.

2. Server Browser doesn't show very accurate pings.

3. Are you putting a "/" before "cg_fov x" ("x" being the desired FoV.)? If you are, don't. Just type "cg_fov xx"

Go into your players2 folder, and open config_mp.cfg in Notepad. CTRL + F and find cg_fov.

Change your value to whatever FoV you want and save.

also check if your config is read-only, if it is disable it.
