Err, I think you've already answered this, but I couldn't find the post...

 

Is there a way to play on LAN (either online or offline, don't think about the latter) rather than setting up a Dedicated Server? Maybe with Private Lobbies and other external programs (let's say Hamachi, Tunngle, etc)?

    No, not that I am aware of.

     

    I would like to hear some clarified details about this. iam also an oldschool LAN-party-fan. :D

    i heard rumors that NTA confirmed a later LAN/offline-function in the IRC. he told a staff-member but..

    thats all rumors. nothing promised.
