I downloaded 4D1 for the first time today. I installed it exactly like in the video. I have Steam version of the game. When I tried to run it, only black screen and an error appears... The error says: "Could not load image 'xenon_controller_top'. If this image name starts with 'prewiev_mp_', you might be missing iw_22.iwd/iw_23.iwd. Read the relevant FAQ entry on *****(4D1supportpageaddresshere)****"

 

Any ideas? I tried googling it, but I basically found nothing....

Go here, look under game support.

That image isn't part of any IW4 IWD. You'll have to reinstall the game, since it's for some reason trying to find an image that doesn't exist.

You installed the english version of the game, right?

It could well be embedded in a fastfile.
