Ok guys. Here's my problem: Whenever I enter a server, it freezes up alot (like staying on 999 for a minute or longer) and while playing, I check my ping (it says it's only 250+) but, when I move, aim and chat, it's like it's 999 ping, and my kills are also affected too. Need help ASAP.

 

 

P.S. where can I get the DLC packs and how should I install it in my MW2?

do you use wifi/do you look for good pings in the server browser or randomly choose a server?

About the DLC: this is no warez board so you won't get a direct link to it. but maybe you could google for something like iw4m dlc.

open your ports and allow 4d1 through your firewall

I never experienced this issue in CoD4.

I use a wifi (and it's right beside my computer), and I also look for the server with the lowest ping on my list (commonly 225 is the lowest). About the DLC, thanks for the help.

225 as a low ping is too high,150 ping is playable.Can you post a speedtest?
