We should have a vote of all the maps from singleplayer that people want but are not already in the m2,

and then pick top 50% and vote again and then pick top 5

Meh there aren't even 5 m more maps, that would meet the requierements to be a good MP map.

Everybody can do a map in less than 10 min. (Which is the reason of the immens load of new maps announced here) But the most important part is the implemtentation and adjustment of the maps to be good. I personally worked over 4 month on contingency, all gametypes were made in one day and I could have released it, but this is bullshit. Sorry but I'm a perfectionist concerning this.

It probably would take more like 30 min but you then have to mess with it to get the gameplay balanced. Most of the SP maps are horrible for MP. Most of the maps released are just quick and dirty mods that work but suck. On Arcadia I spent quite a while trying to get it to make it so that the spawns were in the right places.
