Are you running the game and the server on the same PC ?

No one can see his server if its running on same pc threw which u play. Connect with internal ip & port.

If you have a decent router, you can. Happens that most people have that crappy router that was provided by their ISPs.

Nope, if I have 20mb/20mb/s and have a crappy router then I won't see it You can even see it if you have a low connection but a good router.

I have around 8Mb down and under 800Kb upload and I can see all my IW4M or IW5M servers on the list. Just because I bought a decent router to replace the one provided by my ISP.

Open the in-game console and type:

connect 192.168.x.x:xxxxx

Whatever your internal IP and server's port are.
