I would like to know why the additional modes like GunGame or One In The Chamber do not occur in the gamemode list when I create a private match. Is this supposed to be this way?

 

If I want to play one of these modes, I have to start the match first and then change the mode by "g_gametype gg" followed by "fast_restart".

 

Is there something wrong with my installation, or is this ok?

You game is fine. You need to run a dedicated server and install the mods onto that. Here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2151

As you should know, GunGame and One-In-The-Chamber aren't IW4 stock gametypes. That's why they're not part of the user interface.
