patch_mp.ff is different from the server.

In the common error topic it said: 14. patch_mp.ff is different from server.

Delete caches.xml and start LaunchIW5M.exe

But everytime when I delete caches.xml and start the game caches.xml comes back automatically :shock:

what should I do now?

Well ofc. it comes back, it keeps the game updated, well forces an update if you delete it.

Verify your game on Steam if you bought it. Or redownload it.

I have not bought it, but I think I have a resolution.

I log in the account of my friend, download the mw3 files (he has bought it) and then I paste the IW5M files in the folder.

His IW5M works with that way.

Or just ask him to send you the .ff ? ._.

Then you're trying to get on a server that has Steam's version of patch_mp.ff, instead of FourDeltaOne's version.

That server's admin should run dsut.exe if he expects to have players joining his server.

Yes, it would work. Good luck downloading 13+ gigs of game files, while you could just download the .ff ._.

the game is in english because of fourdeltaone, but the loading screen and the perks are in german
