hello

everytime i join a server, im in for about 5 minutes and then i lag out. this happens to every server i join. im not sure if its my internet, however i have rebooted my modem multiple times hoping that would fix the problem if it was my side causing the lag outs.

 

im not sure if this is happening to anyone else but if it is please tell me how to fix it

What u Actually Mean From lagg out ? Does it says something like....Connection Interrupted ? or Its just the game lagging...

by the way....What is the Ping You Are Getting On those Servers ?

it says "server connection timed out" and im usually on around 100-150 ping

That's usually a firewall problem.

Some packets getting blocked at some point.

Yeah, that's usually a time out caused by packet loss. Try to make sure that whenever this happens is not due to someone else using your connection that's consuming most bandwidth.

For instance some QOS systems (reliable ones) would skip pings and drop packets from most bandwidth consuming transfers in order to keep ping low for high priority small packets. But this behavior could be responsible of the time out connection in MW3 if bandwidth is getting used fully.

i have let the game through my firewall and nothing else in the house is using the internet while im trying to play. it gotten to the point where i cant even choose a class cos it times me out. thank you all for trying to help me.

Try joining servers hosted on other countries or in your country to test, as your ISP might be causing problems in routing the game's traffic to some countries.
