I've been having alot of trouble trying to open my demos recently. with and without demo fixes they're always frozen. along with any other pattern i try to open them with its the same thing, i've sent the same demo i tried to open to 2 other people and it worked fine for them, its obviously something on my end so that's why i'm posting here. thanks in regards to anyone that can help. here's some screenshots of my folders and a video to show the problem.

Yup. Demo ends and says server connection timed out.

/devmap mp_rust; disconnect; demo demoname; wait 5; demo demofix; wait 5; demo demoname

 

That should do the trick, the wait 5 inbetween them will work its magic, try it!

Might just be that particular demo, some demo's do that. Some demo's also crash 1/2 way through.

No, this is a known issue with the newer revisions, usually when the user leaves halfway through a game without typing /stoprecord

i know how. open demo fix wait until the guy moves then launch your demo with the clip

I tried it multiple times on rev22 and 65 plus ive done a clean install of the game so im running out of options :/ this is happening with any demo too. including the demo fixes. always frozen
