Crash every vid_restart or apply settings.

As the title says: everytime I do some graphic change and I apply the settings I just have a black screen and the game just still in that black screen. Same if I do a vid_restart, the screen just become black and I can't do nothing.

Someone can help.

Yes but I don't know the dvars...I don't know which string is the one to edit the texture quality or similar. And then everytime I have to close the game and what about the vid_restart? If I do something and I need a vid_restart I can't cause it crashes...

Try to set

r_noborder 1

and

vid_xpos 0

 vid_ypos 0;

Manually or in the console, depends on which works..

I'm already on windowed mode. It doesn't work in both windowed or fullscreen...

Which graphics card are you using?

Are your drivers up to date?

Which settings are you trying to achieve?
