Well, if there's one thing that's already obvious from all the leaked info floating around, it's that Treyarch has seen how popular and loveable Combat Training is and that they're going to give it ALOT of thought as they revamp it for Black Ops 2. When I'm on BO2, I always love playing Nuketown 6V6 TDM on Regular and rushing around with my silenced SPAS :3 But the Combat Training experience definitely does need some work for it to be a great alternative to online multiplayer for those who just want to play the game for a challenge without having to deal with the inevitably not-always-fun experience online. These are some of the things I, personally, have on my wishlist for BO2 combat training.

 

1) Prestige, prestige, prestige.

 

I can't say this enough. People tried so hard and found so many ways to glitch into prestiging, but Treyarch defiantly patched each method once they caught wind of it. Prestige glitching also caused bugs with unlocking Pro perks, and was not rewarding at all, as you couldn't edit your extra custom classes. Hopefully, Treyarch will see that it needs to be included and put it in CT. If BO1 CT is missing anything, it's extra custom classes and gold camo (outside of splitscreen).

 

 

2) Fix teh h4x.

 

Anyone who has ever played a good amount of CT knows that the bots can be kind of wonky at times, shooting you or panic knifing you the millisecond you emerge from cover or round a corner, abusing Second Chance (which won't even be in BO2 anyway), or camping. Yes I'm not kidding. I have been camped before. It actually does happen believe it or not. I think it's a result of bot waypoint glitching, but I've seen bots sitting at the top of the stairs in one of the houses on Nuketown and camping that spot out. HARD. Just the other day, I watched a bot teammate camp out a corner behind green house for no less than 30 seconds before finally moving. Not sure what that was about. Anyway, hopefully, AI will be reprogrammed to better replicate human opponents without replicating the hacks or cheap tactics that some said opponents exploit =P

 

 

3) More balanced perk usage.

 

As CT kept getting updates throughout the history of BO, I noticed how more and more bots used Ghost and Flak Jacket. Rarely would I see Lightweight, Hardline, or Scavenger ever used, and it made for some pretty disappointing hail-mary semtex throws and Chopper Gunner/Gunship runs. I hope Treyarch finds a way to program the AI to be more diverse in their perk choices, or at least give AI fewer ways to troll people like me =P

 

 

4) Bots should skip killcams.

 

This is a pretty simple request. I just think it slows down gameplay. I think it would help to emulate online multiplayer if bots skipped their killcams. Most players DON'T watch them as far as I can tell (I rarely ever do).

 

 

5) Revamp the Playercard Editing.

 

It's kind of disappointing playing CT as much as I have and never being able to edit one's playercard. The ideal solution to this, as I see it, is giving the player the choice of using their ONLINE playercard as the one they use in CT or if they want, they can use a separate playercard for CT. It would help to expand the CT experience in the cosmetic sense. Just a little something that would make me happy.

 

 

6) Moar Game Modes.

 

This is pretty much a no-brainer, and another part of combat training that many have wanted enough to try and glitch into it on consoles. Considering the primary intent of CT is to help players learn the ropes of online play, it only makes sense that they should be able to practice objective game modes as well.

 

I'm going to get a wee bit ambitious and say they should include wager match and custom gametypes as well. That would be incredibly awesome.

These are good ideas, but mine is.: delete the killstreak. I hate them. A lot of people play with support now... And when they use assault and hardline... N00bs... They kill 3 people in a row and call an UAV and a Care Packages... :evil: The best mode is Berabornes NOW. ._.
