Back in the Alter days I remember we had the ability to click to launch and connect to a server immediately through a command link. Does this exist for 4D1 IW4, and if so what would be the format?

You can add your favs server in the menu.

Open the "main_menu.menu" located in the m2demo/ui_mp folder.

Then scroll down a bit to:

...
HORIZONTAL_LINE(7)
	MENU_CHOICE_BUTTON_VIS(7, button_8, "OPTIONS", open pc_options_video;, 1)
	MENU_CHOICE_BUTTON_VIS(8, button_9, "QUIT", open quit_popmenu;, 1)

Then add these lines:

HORIZONTAL_LINE(10)
			MENU_CHOICE_BUTTON_VIS(10, button_10, "NAME OF SERVER",
                   exec "connect IP:PORT";
                                       , 1)
HORIZONTAL_LINE(11)

Also, when you said "main_menu.menu", its actually "main_text.menu", but I understood what you meant.

That code is already on the updater.

Yeah, now you can add favserver through the serverlist.
