I always get that once i enter any server, just after 5 seconds, i get this error.

Umm, I am using a wireless connection, and every time I restart or turn off my pc, my IP changes.

I tried opening a server at tecknogods, but it didn't work. so i thought you guys have the ability to make me a host of my own server.

When I tried opening the server, it says everything is fine, and it will be listed on the internet serverlist, but i couldn't see it on the serverlist.

 

So anyone know what should i do?

Try connecting to your server by using 'connect IP:PORT' as your router probably doesn't support somethig regarding UPNP which makes it unvisible to you.

But how do I gain access to the console of the game >.<?

Yes. They will see your server.

If you see "Master Servers found (1). Server will be Internet Server listed." message on your Dedicated Server window; thats mean they will see your server.

Also, you can visit s.mufff.in/iw5msl for your server listed or not. I don't think necessary but...

(This progress can take a few second. Don't worry if your server not listed right away, just check one minute later.)

When you fallow this path:

Press Windows button -> press Run -> write "cmd" without "" and press enter. -> write "ipconfig" without "" and press enter.

You will see something like that:

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.XXX.XXX

This is your local ip address. You need to use that address for connect your server.

 

When you open a server; you see a log line something like that:

Initializing Steam Game Server: game port XXXXX, auth port YYYYY, query port ZZZZZ

You need to use your "game port" for connect your server.

 

Let say, your local ip address: 192.168.5.102 and your "game port": 28975

Correct console command must be:

connect 192.168.5.102:28975

for this scenario.

Also, you can use your real/net ip address too for connect to your server.

 

Go and check/find your local ip and "game port", try again.

If you can't connect your server first try; close IW5M client. (Close game, not server.) and open game again, try to connect again. Must work. If doesn't work; that means you have a connection problem. Reasons can be port forwards or your anti-virus/firewall software(s).

Umm i can't find my server in, Maybe the server should be set down to visible to internet in server config?

I just open my server for be sure and my server listed four-five minutes later. (I know, i already said "This progress can take a few second. Don't worry if your server not listed right away, just check one minute later." but this time took more, i don't know why. I'm sorry for wrong time information.) So, wait five-ten minute and check again please.

 

Also, if you write your server name or real/net ip:port here or FourDeltaOne IRC Channel; someone check and tell you or join your server.
