Hello, i can play fine,but my friend has a issue

So he wanted to have the game too, so i installed the same MW3, 4D1 and everything .

The problem is that he doesn't see the 'Servers' button or the 'Dedicated Server' menu in settings , so he can't play in any servers

What should I Do ?

Tell your friend to launch LaunchIW5M.exe instead of iw5mp.exe? That is, if you downloaded the game through Steam.

Can he screenshot his main menu ?

Hello KreeeKz.

 

Open game with double click "LaunchIW5M.exe".

Open console with " button.

Press "Backspace" button and cleanup console.

Write this command in console and press Enter button:

cl_enableDedicatedServerBrowser 1

 

Now, "SERVERS" button must be show up.

 

 

If next time "SERVERS" button doesn't show up again:

Go IW5M folder.

Go "players2" folder.

Open "config_mp.cfg" with a text editor. (Notepad, Notepad++)

Find: seta cl_enableDedicatedServerBrowser "0"

Change : seta cl_enableDedicatedServerBrowser "1"

Save and close "config_mp.cfg".
