This is the easier way I found to activate Windows 7 and Windows 8 using KMS Server.

 

First open a cmd as admin.

This command will change your activation server to 4D1's server

slmgr /skms fourdeltaone.net:1688

 

Now we need to change our CDKey, this command will do the work for us

slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX would be a serial number for your Windows edition, WARNING: Not all CDKeys can be used with every version of OS, you have to find a specific key for your Windows version (Ultimate, Professional, Home, Starter, etc).

 

Once you have changed your CDKey now you need to re-arm the windows activator (just in case you already got: "Windows is not activated" message). This is simply done by writing this in the cmd:

slmgr /rearm

Now you should restart your computer to this command to take effect.

 

As final step, you need to finally activate your product key:

slmgr /ato

 

This will activate your key using 4D1's KMS server. To make sure your windows is activated go to Computer->Right click->Properties and take a look at the end of the window, it should say something like: "Windows is activated".

It seams to be for cracked copies of windows which can be runned but is not the "genuine" version. The not geniune version cannot put a background image, there is that annoying little notice at the lower right corner and they do not get support from microsoft (who cares about microsoft support )

No, this method activates Windows without any limitations (i have not tried to update Windows), no notice at the lower right corner.
