Demo problems

So i recorded a demo i would like to use, i was playing on a server with the mod "trickshots" but i see it has not recorded to the mod folder but the m2demo folder. So i have tried to move it around and everything and the only time i dont get the Lost Connection to Host error is when its launched without mods but it only flickers a quick black screen then goes to the menu again??? Any ideas im so lost i have tried everything.....

Does the demo record more than two maps? If yes, then that's your problem. You should stop recording before the final scores appear.

And if it doesn't contain two maps, then the server was on alterRev, and aRev demos are broken.

No it is just one map, its actually only like 6 rounds of one map as well. It might be on alterRev im not sure :S if so then that would be my problem :/

Well if you record a demo on aRev, you might aswell call it broken. Why don't you just turn off legacy filters and play on 4D1? The issue most probably won't happen then, unless you call in a harrier.
