I've searched everywhere and I couldn't find a solution.

My dedicated server was running okay, then I suddenly restarted the computer (VPS) and after that, whenever I open the shortcut it gives me an error like the file I've attached.

I have three iw5 servers and they are all act the same, that's weird.

 

And hey,

It's Windows Server 2008 R2

I have .net framework.

All the ports are open. (the servers were working fine as I mentioned.)

I've replaced the admin folder with the default one.

The shortcut's target line is fine:

+set net_queryPort 27015 +set net_port 27016 +set net_masterServerPort 27017 +set sv_config "server.cfg" +start_map_rotate

I didn't touch anything... :cry:

 

BTW a couple of days ago it became just like this and it automatically fixed! so I didn't take it seriously.

So, what do you say? please help me it's driving me crazy :?

Should I have ' iw5m_server.exe' in my games folder, because I can't see it, and I' sure I've installed what's needed?

Unrelated question in this topic but do you have this? http://iw5.prod.fourdeltaone.net/files/dsut.zip

Extract the files into your server root directory and run dsut.exe

Replying to the 2 posts above, you should only use the dsut and have iw5m_server.exe on your folder if you're planning on hosting a game server.

Nothing of that is needed if you only want to play the game.

It's OK now.

I had the "Net Limiter" app installed, and as soon as I restarted the computer the service was started, and made the servers not work. (where the story began)

But I've been using it for like 3 years on all my other servers, It's for monitoring and managing the networks and never had such a problem, because all I did was monitoring.

So I felt like uninstalling it, did a restart after, now iw5m is working, that's weird.

 

So thank you all for helping giving me thoughts, specially Cem and Paulofonta.
