My friend gets stuck on that message untill he gets an error, i looked at viewtopic.php?f=30&t=9515 but both fixes didn't work...

Anyone has a way around this?

.1 Open IW5M (as administrator)

.2 Click on Play

.3 While the game is connecting open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Del)

.4 Go to iw5m.dat process and change the priority from high to normal

.5 Play

If that was the fix.

It's not the priority change that fixes it, but the time that you take to do it.

The real fix is to make sure that there's nothing blocking port 3074

You need to unblock it though

Raffa, you're a bloody genius mate. I've been trying to get this to work for the past two weeks

 

Any chance a mod could sticky this somehow, as (as I've found out these past two weeks) there's a lot of people with the same problem.
