Nope mate, still not working. Same error message and still the update stuck on 8%. But here is a picture on how it looks like in my folder. I'll just note that I'm on TeknoMW3's lousy servers while IW5M has been down. I have not been able to play for real long. Remove the "read-only" attribute from "english" folder's properties.

Also delete that "code_post_gfx.ff.deco" and then run LaunchIW5M.exe again.

Even if you reinstall, using the "setup" installation method, you might keep having those folder permission issues.

Thanks. You know when i check the list you gave me i miss 25-34 iwd files i dont have 23 and 24 but those was not in the list. So where i can download 25-34 iwd files ? And then also i deleted main\localized_english_3 and 4 because those are not in the list. But pls can someone give me a download link for the iwd:s.

iw_23 and iw_24 are not on the list because they come with IW5M updater and their hashes might change if there's an update (you still need them. Same applies to several files from "english" folder). Just delete caches.xml before launching the game to get those files.

iw_33 and iw_34 are part of the free DLC (you get them with hldsut). iw_25 to iw_32 are part of the 4 DLC packages.

In a sum, hldsut+IW5M updater+"new store" = full game without any kind of problems (you may only have problems with the Steam checks, but that's not related with the game files)

caches.xml is an updater index.

It's only created after the updater finishes updating (and yours isn't finishing the update because it's crashing during the update)

Just get hldsut and create a clean game installation on your desktop.

After you install HLDSUT, extract the attached batch file to the folder where you installed hldsupdatetool.exe, and run it from there (just double-click it)

hldsupdatetool.exe is supposed to stay at "Valve" folder. You just extract the batch from the attachment above to "Valve" folder aswell and run the batch from there.

The batch will launch hldsupdatetool.exe with all the required parameters to create a clean game folder on your desktop (a folder named "IW5M")

YES! Fianlly! thanks for all the help mate!!!! I donВґt think i did as you said, i just copy the IW5M launcher and DBNetwork.Indigo.dll to the vlave folder and then i started the update and it was just going on to 100% after that it looked like this: http://postimage.org/image/7qprty0ux/ and then i just cpoy evrything in the valve folder and paste it into my mw3 folder! But no IW5M fodler was created on my deskop but who cares it works fine now. And thanks again mate!!!

You're not fine because you didn't download the free DLC with hldsut

Create a batch file like this on your IW5M folder:
