my friend want to play mw3 with me but he plays on $te@m... if I get him my server ip can he play with me? or the opposite, if he get to me a server ip can i play with him? or I risk the ban?

yes I have my dedicated server, the question is if my friend (he has the original game, he plays with $te@m) can play with me on my server

No he has to download iw5m and play. he can just download and put it in steam's mw3 folder.

He has to make a copy of his game folder and apply IW5M patch on that copy.

(the patch should run just fine directly on the Steam folder, but let's make a copy, just in case)
