hey guys..

 

i dont have a problem with b3 but i am curious about something..

im attending a lan this weekend and il be hosting the server but will be connecting to a rooter that assigns ip addresses.

 

how would i go about changing my public ip in b3 to the new ip assigned to me so that it wont give me hassles(i pressume it will with the ip change). do i just go to the b3.xml file in b3>conf and change the public ip to the new one or would it require more work? if so how would i go about it

The only thing you need to change is the "rcon_ip" on b3.xml

If you get problems at starting the server, make sure that the router is allowing you to use the required ports (just use the router's DMZ function if you're not in the mood for hassles)
