In the config file game rounds and win limit are both set to 1, but maps keep playing twice. Anyone know how to make them play only once?

 

Also Rust seems to keep popping up and it's not even on the rotation (set sv_mapRotation "map mp_karachi map mp_invasion map mp_favela map mp_termina map mp_quarry map mp_skidrow").

map mp_termina you missed the 'l' at the end.

 

There is no mp_karachi, it should be mp_checkpoint and mp_skidrow should be mp_nightshift ...

 

So try this rotation:

set sv_mapRotation "map mp_checkpoint map mp_invasion map mp_favela map mp_terminal map mp_quarry map mp_nightshift"

While I'm at it, how do I set up automatic server messages from the server config? Also how do I set up the old C0D4 maps such as vacant, crash, strike etc (even castle if you remember that custom map)?

Just /say bla bla in the servers console. Or if you are playing on your server, do /rcon login passwordhere in your clients console once,

after that you should be able to use /rcon say texthere in your clients console.

 

EDIT: oh, seems like you edited that, the easiest way to setup automatic messages would be using b3 bot. ( http://www.bigbrotherbot.net/ )

nope? mp_crash works fine...take a look at the official server.cfg. If mp_crash was wrong, someone would've noticed.

Remove this argument from the server's startup parameters:

" +map mp_rust"
