please help me out,intel/nvidia pc is around 300 dollars more is the price worth it?

The 7970 has a better price/performance ratio than the 680.

The i7 3770k is overkill for games and hyperthreading can sometimes even result in lower performance in some games.

 

Go with the i7 3770k + GTX 680 if an i5 3570k + HD 7970 build isn't an option.

what if energy bill is not such a problem? will fx-8350/7970 combo be better?and approximately if you can tell. how many years will pc be able to run games at least on normal?thanks for answer

Then you still shouldn't buy the FX-8350, because the i5 3570k and i7 3770k are better.

Depends on whether you're playing games with huge textures and on 2560x1440 or higher.

get intel!

CPU wise atm: You will get more speed for your $ for AMD cpus, but the high-end ones are 8-core, which means they don't work very well with most games. They're also less efficient and get hotter. Intel CPUs cost more/MHz, but are more sensible, reliable and efficient.

 

GPU wise: AMD cards also give you more bang for your buck (especially with vram, good for high resolutions), but are a bit less efficient and lack a few features of Nvidia cards.
