Even though it originally started as a Christian holliday, it has another meaning now. Nobody sees Jesus' birth anymore, but gifts, Santa, Christmas trees... I have a Muslim friend who celebrates Christmas every year, when I asked him why, he told me: "I may not be Christian, but I can still celebrate 3 weeks off I get from school because of Christmas, everyone being in better mood and nicely decorated town."
