My Viewsonic VX1962WM monitor's backlight is broken. I can faintly see the icons of my screen and Google Chrome and such (it is just very, very much dimmed). Does anyone have a [step by step] guide on how to replace it? (and any sites for buying backlight lamps; I'm currently looking at http://www.ccflwarehouse.com/) I'd also like to replace it ASAP (with or without your guys' help) because I'm currently using this smallllllll 13 inch monitor.

Unless your monitor is some high value item, you're better off saving up for a new, better monitor.

Are you sure you didn't just turn off the backlight ;p anyways what Kyou said.
