Hi killers,

im having a little issue in our jumper mod...see if any1 can help please...

it works brilliant except for a little trouble that i cant solve...i dont know why but some classes that players use..make them gods...i mean they dont die..!!.im not sure what perk causes this but u can slash them like 4 times and still not dying..i want this particulary mod..to be played as sniper..so 1 shot kills as the health is on minuscule, the distands u can snipe from..make this mod wicked! is like hunting birds!!! :P , but this "issue" is getting me mad...ive tried to make weapon and perk restrictions, but only causes instant death when u jump..i supose is something to do with the script...any ideas???

I have your same problem... they told me:

I've seen the video when you first posted it on the other topic.

But let me tell you 2 things:

1. although using a script, you still need to aim at the target to shoot him.

2. keep in mind of the distance... when you use a script like this, you tend to get far from your targets. Bullet damage will decrease because of that distance, and your chance to hit some vital area decreases aswell (you'll eventually shoot a leg or arm instead of torso or head)

 

What you might need to suit your desires is a script that besides those functions, also changes the weapon's properties, giving it a wider impact area, and "1shot, 1 kill" effect.

The problem is when the players use Dead Silence Pro the falling damage is null... And this part of the code:

 

        public override void OnPlayerDamage(Entity player, Entity inflictor, Entity attacker, int damage, int dFlags, string mod, string weapon, Vector3 point, Vector3 dir, string hitLoc)
       {
           if (mod == "MOD_FALLING" && JumpHeight > 120)
           {
