I'm using a mobile phone as modem (tethering) to get internet. I can do the same things as if I were conneced to a router (exploring internet, playing another online games, etc), but I get this error when trying to login this game:

 

Error during initialization:

Could not authenticate to NP server at iw5.prod.fourdeltaone.net -- bad details.

 

My iw5m.ini is ok, I can login with no problems when I connect to a router.

 

Any solution? Thanks.

Server was OK, I just can't enter with a 3G connection, but I dont know why, and the error it throws says me nothing...

 

Maybe the client sends some info to the server that can't be reached with this kind of inet connection, but anyway I can do the same things as if I were connected to a router, so...

What kind of phone is it?

If it was iPhone, I'd tell you to download 3G unrestrictor. Maybe there's such thing for Android too, try searching for it. If not, it's probably just mobile connections being unable to reach that server, like my mobile connection can't open any IRC server.

I've been searching and there's no 3G unrestictor for Android, anyhow i've readed this just hacks the 3G connection to lie some apps which needs a WiFi connection to work,I guess this has nothing to do with my problem, but thanks for answering.

 

Moreover, I have connected to the game (just once, don't know why), but I can't pass the main menu :S.

When I click on PLAY or SERVERS the "Waiting for the server ..." (or whatever it says) prompt appears, but after waiting for near a minute it says the server is down or something like.

 

Does this game require a minimum ping with the NP server to allow connections or something like this?

A lot of provider block most of the ports, and there is no way for you to forward them. So there isn't much we can do for you.

If you would have read his post, you would see he has access to a router yet he is using his phone as a provider.

Forwarding ports in Android requires a rooted phone =D.
