hey guys

uuh i been playing both 4d1 and alterrev for a few days - but my 4d1 version has controls delay or something - the controls lag when used: turning and aiming becomes impaired

 

i looked around and a couple of threads said something about the physx and the drivers, and reinstall the game and bla-bla, yet my problem persists. never happened with the alterrev client, or any other game for that matter, i get really high FPS all the time on any given game, except the 4d1 client. stuck on like 30fps.

 

and for the record, i do think 4d1 is the better community, but the anti-cheat as you advertise it isn't really all that and the game has generally random lags, which my alterrec client does not have, coupled with my controls delay problem makes this game unplayable

 

HELP?

turn off vsync in your driver and in the game(Sync every frame)

i'm not saying i'm a computer-genious but it has occured to me to try all that, doesn't help.

also tried changing process priority, checking for process instances, whatever.

still does not help. i know i'm not the only one yesterday on 24/7 highrise like 4 other guys were complaining about the same thing. oh and no it doesn't matter which server you're on.

I want you to try and create a private match for yourself.

 

See if this problem still occurs when playing alone in a private match, report back.

but uuh, alterrevv is not working right now and i don't even care if it's back or when it's back

so i'll prolly delete it anyway

If you can't create a private match then your files are just plain wrong.

the conrtols lag has somewhat disappeared, but the game is still somehow lagging - getting a FPS between 35 and 75 when playing
