Just a few remarks regarding the rules. It is my interpretation and my advice. Not tearing someone down as a person, just want to mention a few things.

Yes, I have read "Will be updated in the future". Yes, I can give constructive feedback even if I know it will be updated in the future.

I personally think that isn't a rule.. more of a guideline which you can't "check". Actually warning/banning for not trying is rather useless as you can't verify that.

 

5.Discrimination, or insulting one's race, sex, political belief or religion is generally prohibited. Sensible discussions about the above topics will, however, be allowed.

 

The person who wrote this rule used or to add topics to a rule. However, insulting a persons race, sex and religion are already linked directly to discrimination and a sub part "racism". My advice is to remove them from the rule itself.

 

2.Posting of pornographic or otherwise offending content is prohibited.

 

My comments on this rule are actually on the "offending content" part. The rule is kinda vague as "offending" is a subjective term. In this case, moderators/administrators can warn for everything they find offending. In that case you could ditch all rules, to prevent this you can add: "the definition of 'offending' is at the staff's discretion." like presented earlier under signature/avatar rules.

Racism is hatred towards a race, insulting a sex or religion is nowhere near the same bucket as racism. It's a whole 'nother form of discrimination and as such it should stay.

Racism is hatred towards a race, insulting a sex or religion is nowhere near the same bucket as racism. It's a whole 'nother form of discrimination and as such it should stay.

 

Discrimination is a generalising term which expresses hatred created by differences. Racism is just a subsection of it which is created.
