(no one buys singleplayer games)

Wat.

There's on accurate way to measure things, as most (if not all) gaming PCs are custom-built with stock PCs purchased for office work, etc.

Besides, the PC is a modular system, instead of buying a new one, you can always upgrade,

Well, there are. You may state "maybe because there are no recent good multiplayer games" but this would be incorrect as well. You can say that people's taste has gotten shittier, and yes, people do buy SP games.

One valid factor for people not buying PCs is because Android devices are more prominent and they can tweet/facebook/browseweb without the need of a dedicated desktop.

This whole thread reeks of poorly constructed, non-sourced ass.

Consider yourself disproved.

This way is prior to the game released for free.

1. No money to spend on computers.

2. The so called "Post PC" era: tablets and smartphones are experiencing an overwhelming expansion, clearly eating some of the PC's share. Fact is, gamers and professionals are a very small portion of the people with a PC, and those who didn't make "full usage" of it are currently buying a device that does what they just need: social networking and basic apps.

Also, Tatar, "un-sourced" isn't really the way to describe it. Many news portals have also posted the same new, which already is enough source.

Well, not providing a source for a blanket term like PC is pretty shitty writing if you look at it from any angle.

I've provided exact sources of my claims.

I mean, what is a PC? Is the Tablet PC a PC? Is the laptop a PC? It should be.

If he meant desktop, he should've written desktop. In addition to providing sources for his claims.

PC sales are increasing, technically. A PC = your smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, workstation, tower, etc. just that the only things that are included in that statistic are most likely laptops, desktops, etc. And because the sales of smart phones and tablets are increasing, the sales of laptops and desktops are declining, but with an overall increase in sales.

Blame ignorance, PC is a misused term.

True what u say. If people wanna play, they get xbox or ps3 and if they wanna work or check email and stuff like that, they get smartphones or laptops. PC consumers are mostly particular types of people like schools or programers but basically the use of electronics are increasing.
