Hi all.

 

I have a problem with my IW4M, when i try to join a server it get stuck on Map Loading, on the ''Setting up game...''

It started doing this today, dunno why.

 

Can someone please help me?

i fixed this ,

just delete all files in root folder except binkw32.dll, DBNetwork.Indigo.dll, localization.txt, mss32.dll.

delete iw_25.iwd, iw_29.iwd, iw_31.iwd in main folder.

this fixed the problem.

Try this and backup the files first.

Yeah I already tried it but didn't work... Maybe have I to reinstall MW2 and then re-apply 4D1?

look i have a long story about this.

1- do as MAGIC said.

2- open this link "portforward . com / english / applications / port_forwarding / Call_of_Duty_-_Modern_Warfare_2 / default . htm"

delete spaces

and choose your router, then follow the steps.

3- join 4D1 servers only.

4- join servers from serverlist

5- be patient, it would take from 1 min to 3 to connect

6- this is 4d1 problem cuz i didn't have this problem in arev

EDIT: Worked only once, the second time i played it stuck. WTF?

 

EDIT2: I can't find my router on the list too. I think it's such a curse.

Edit: nah it didn't work, still have the problem.

You have to reduce the traffic filtering to speed up your connection both to the game server and to the masterserver.

You can reduce traffic filtering by either forwarding ports or disabling the router's firewall (those are just examples, as anti-virus firewalls can also delay traffic with it's filtering)
