anyone know a fix for this ? my demos aint recording

Give some more details first, perhaps?

well I type /record and nothing comes up on screen, then did /stoprecord, then checked my demo folder and nothing was in there

If you were playing on a server with a mod, check the 'mods' folder. Also, a reinstall might help, I guess.

yeah I was but i also tried in a different server and it fucked up imma try re-install now :/

Delete your config_m2 and try again

I have windows 8 and i can record demos just fine.

If you were running a mod when u recorded a demo, the demo is in mods\*modname*\demos.

I tested with aizombies

Works fine here, Windows 8 Professional x64.

Do you not see the 'demo0001 560k' at all when you write /record?
