Yesterday I wanted to play some COD4 and for some reason I got stuck on the "awaiting connection" screen, it went to 10 which is the limit and then I got the "server connection timed out error". I tried a lot of different servers, servers from my country and other countries. I also checked ping with the command prompt. It was normal. Then I decided to try MW2. For a while it worked fine, played some servers but later that day not even the server list showed up. I even tried to play on my own 4D1 server, I couldn't connect to it and other people couldn't connect to it.

I was hoping you guys know some fixes for this.

 

inb4 "restart your router" and "restart your PC"

Already did that twice.

 

I also checked my PC for any viruses with Avast anti virus. No threats detected.

 

And yes I can use the internet. Everything works fine, youtube, downloading (downloaded NFS shift)...

Can you plese specify which game you are talking about? afaik 4D1 doesn't support IW3.

 

The most common problem would be firewall.

I said I played COD4 first which didn't work properly and then I tried MW2 4D1.

 

I know 4D1 doesn't support IW3.

 

EDIT: Tried to play Gmod online and it works fine.

IW5M also works fine. The other 2 games still not working.

 

My internet provider told me to ask computer experts because it looks like nothing is wrong with the router.
