I was, during the development of your project, playing in ARev.

 

Now your project is done, so i come back here 8-)

 

But, i ve got many problems:

 

1/ Xfire still lauch Arev exe when i start game with it.

I used the soft to patch xfire, but i still got the problem.

 

2/ I ve updated the dedi with the updater, and download the client to start it. But the only iw4m.exe i ve got is Arev one, so when i launch server, i still have Arev server. I ve tried all EXE on my installation folder, but none launch dedi, so where does the installer put it?

Start with a fresh, unmodified copy of MW2. aRev modified files from original MW2. IW4M doesn't.

 

Next, get the Dedicated Server Updater and you should be all set: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3698

For the Xfire problem:

 

1. go to C:\ProgramData\Xfire and open xfire_game.ini

2. Press Ctrl + F and then search for "Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer"

3. Replace this the code which is at the bottom of the post

4. In Xfire go to Tool -> Games -> Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer and then manual select the Game path to IW4MLaunch and iw4m.exe
