Cod 4 gave kill streaks , mw2 perfected them , mw3 gave us the specialist and some game modes .(I think , I didn't play online games besides counter-strike before 2007 )

Now, investigate all the features Acony games were announcing for Parabellum back in 2005. It had killstreaks, weapon attachments and customization, envirement demolition.

 

Out of these ideas new gen CoD and BF were created, and unfortunately Parabellum staid awesome as a concept only, the game was never finished because of lack of funds, so they released a beta to get some support, which was a huge flop.
