Hey guys! ok so i know some people are having trouble loading the map Terminal or maybe some other maps and need a fix! Well, after a bit of time, and help from some moderators and other players, i was able to fix my problem with loading the MW3 map terminal.

If you are getting errors, like the following, this topic will probably help your problem.

-cannot load image 'loadscreen_mp_terminal_cls

 

if you are errors like this one ^^ above then follow the steps below to hopefully fix your problem.

 

Before you do anything below, download this tool http://code.kliu.org/hashcheck/, It will run a test/diagnostics of you files to make sure they are running properly. Download the file in the attachments to run the test. Below is how to fix this issues.

 

1. Some common errors are cause by the missing .iwd files and or the actual map files.

2. Download the full DLC collection (DLC Collection 1, 2, 3, 4, all downloads are torrent downloads.)

3. Download the DLC Collection 1, 2, 3 here:http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7702471/Call_of_Duty_MW3___All_DLC_%281_2_3_Terminal_FaceOff%29

4. Download the DLC Collection 4 here: http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7723077/Call_of_Duty_MW3___DLC_4___Final_Assault

5. After the download, open the containing folder

6. Navigate to the MW3 DLC collection 4 first, to make you life easier.

7. Double Click the "DLC#4 - Final Assault.iw5dlc" file.

8. It will ask you if you want to install the MW3 DLC Collection 4, Click YES.

9. After installation, it will notify you that the installation was successful.

10. Navigate to the MW3 DLC 1, 2, 3 folder.

11. In that folder you will find a series of ZIP folders. ( DLC Collection1, DLC Collection2, DLC Collection3, Faceoff, Terminal)

12. UNZIP all folders.

13. In a new file browser, Navigate to you Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 folder, where you installed the game.

14. From the previous window, where the DLC Collection 1,2,3 are open the DLC Collection 1 folder.

15. Drag the 2 folders ("main", "zone") in the second file browser window that is located at you Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 installation.

16. Windows will ask you if you want to MERGE the files, click YES

17. Do the same for the DLC Collection 2, and 3. Drag the two "main" and "zone" files from each DLC Collection folder, into your MW3 installation folder as you did for the DLC Collection 1.

 

18. Now do the exact same thing you did for the DLC Collection folders, to the "Terminal" folder and the "Faceoff" folder. Drag the 2 "main" and "zone" files into your MW3 installation folder.

 

19. EVERYTHING SHOULD BE READY! But you should do another file test/diagnostic using the file u downloaded before to make sure the MW3 files are working properly.

 

20. PLAY! HAVE FUN!
