Hello,

I've made yesterday a fimilar topic about that problem, but i got a new one.

Now it doesnt even starts my demo, and yes i /stoprecord(ed) it. But now when i want to watch my demos it says "Lost Connection To Host". But yesterday the demos were working, and the new ones + the ones that worked yesterday wont start...

 

Any help, because i made a fucking 11 man feed with my raffica and wants to upload it to youtube :<

 

 

PS: I think the demo feature is kinda bugged.

First of all, there is no possible way to convert/upload/play your demos without IW4M by FourDeltaOne.

Second of all, I think there was an update that doesnt allow older demos to be played. Mods will probably do further explaining...

First of all, there is no possible way to convert/upload/play your demos without IW4M by FourDeltaOne.

Rofl.. like i told already.. Yesterday the demos were working, today not?... And i made few demos 1 hour ago.. all arent working.

Second time I've said this today. Don't play legacy servers. Disable them. They run on an old client without proper demo support so it only works on dlc2. Legacy servers are from aRev running on the old alteriw source at the moment until they update to the new iw4m. They are indicated by a green asterisk at the end of the servers name (^*). So in short, your demo will never work.

Try deleting caches.xml from your game folder, then run the game. Make sure you try and launch the demos after that.

Well stick to non-legacy servers for now. Until alterRev updates to iw4m.

Use fraps. You wont be able to upload the demo files or convert them in any way.

Wrong. You play the demo in timescale 0.1 and use fraps/dxtory to record it. Smooth gameplay rather than laggy shit with fraps while playing

Record with fraps and when loading the demo use

 

/demo demoname; wait 5;demoback 1

 

obviously replace demoname with the actual name of the demo your trying to load.
