I'm going to use AUD because YOLO. Things cost more over here anyway. Plus, I'm assuming you don't need an optical drive. Everyone has one of them lying around, and even if you don't, who uses DVDs in 2013?

it's funny but my brother have the same CPU you mentioned above, with 630 gt 2GB as his main gpu, and my rigs are fx 6300 and 430 gt, we get the same fps in bf3

BF3 is one of the very, very few games where the FX series does well. Try almost any truly CPU-Intensive game, such as Skyrim, and the i3 will almost exclusively beat the more expensive 6300.

 

Without overclocking; but any board that would actually allow you to properly oc an fx-6300 would completely destroy the budget and force the gpu down to a 770 or 650Ti, which will still be slower. Sorry.

i bought the fx 6300 for 200$ and the motherboard for 105$

original prices on amazon 129$ for the cpu and 56$ for the mobo, totally lost it :cry:
