I played it at a game convention, but that was just 10 minutes of multiplayer, was actually forward to playing it.

movies>games works at some occasions. If you say that E.T. was a good game back in the days then every game ever based on a movie would get a 11/10 rating.

I was really hoping for this game to be good but what ya gonna do, good that i waited for the reviews. I feel sorry for people who preordered the game thinking its gonna be good.

my friend bought it, and was making such a big deal about it...wouldnt stop telling me to buy it....

What the hell happened to the game? This demo actually looks so much better that the final release. Im even agreeing with the guy in the video and that the 2011 E3 demo isп»ї just a very good prerendered cinematic which they played. It may also be what the game looked like when gearbox was still making it. Cause there have been allot of rumors that gearbox just couldnt handle developing borderlands 2 and this at the same time so they gave Alien to some other studios which then messed it up.

But yea, not even having any interest in the game, I would NOT play that game at all. Like, the gameplay demo doesn't look like it's a CGI, because it would be stupid if they did that but had to lower the textures and everything, would be a bit stupid imo. Also, the dark atmosphere just makes the demo great, as it's based on a horror movie and Aliens is a pretty dark and scary movie afaik. Seems like they were like "well, dead space 3 comes out almost at the same time, so lets create a more action oriented game other than a horror game so it won't be called a dead space clone". They pretty much went full retard and just did whatever suited them. But as they had over 2-3 years (not sure, but i guess that much), they could (and should) have done the entire game more like that gameplay demo, as that looks brilliant.
