Use Hamachi. You don't have to portforward that way.

1. Download Hamachi

2.Create a new Network named whatever you want.

3.Let your friend join the network. (Give him the password and the network name.)

4.Your friend should use the IP that was given to you by Hamachi. (For ex. 5.125.549.941 | The first number is always 5.)

Tell your friend to enter this into the console "Connect x.xxx.xxx.xxx" (Replace the X's with the IP.)

Well, that's it. Simple and it works. However only 5 people can play at once, unless you buy Hamachi. But I suggest you port-forward your router if you want to host a big game.

*Edit*: If you can't connect, check the dots next to your names in Hamachi, if they aren't green, they're indicating a problem. Try to restart your PC, that'll hopefully work.

Best regards, RCencelj1990.

Problem is, most people dunno how to port forward, even with a tutorial. Every router is different. Hamachi isn't so bad, actually.

First of all my router is port forwarded .

Secound me and my brother are in LAN so he should connect by typing CONNECT 192.168.1.2(ipv4 Address) But he can't . I remember in alteriwnet we used to type the ip with port e.g xxx.xxx.x.x:28960 .

The third problem is that i don't know what port my game is using . Alteriwnet used to tell us by the command "findexternalip" (ip with port). :!:

Edit: THanks guys the problem is fixed , i didnt knew that we don't need port for joining Private MAtch . THANKS TO EVERYBODY !!!!!

When playing on a LAN you have to use your internal IP, not your external.

Thankyou bro but the problem is fixed. I connected to him by just typing the ip without ports :)
