    actually its the prob about the update...the update starts and at the last file update an error occurs that the network connection is required...even though m connected to it!! :/

    searched steam for this prblem but no help!

    Oh, that. Might be something regarding their servers. Try shutting off your PC/Steam and try again, or later. Or just join our IRC channel and ask for a bypass, I guess.

    Yeah I had a similar problem one time, I just deleted everything inside my steam folder, except for all the folders and the steam.exe and then started steam. Steam will automatically get the necessary files back by updating it.
