In my opinion it's quite annoying when staff delete topics, it's urandom and I understand that things like "Post your *" are quite annoying, but at this point it rustles my jimmies so damn hard.

And it's this kind of topic title that causes it..

Agreed. I mean i know my post about my neighbor climbing his tree wasn't the most "useful" post, but it wasn't

idiotic, stupid, pathetic, 4chan-ish or anyother synonym of "stupid"

So i see no reason why it should have been deleted. :? Whatever, life goes on.

Well this is the spam part of the forum .

I think you should not only not delete the shit topics but also encourage them . If a cancer topic is in dev it's not in the general discussion where the people should be sensible and nice (within reason ). If you start deleting topics here where will the shit topics go. You might start finding them in the general discussion or worst in the projects part.

I think this part of the forum should be nearly unmoderated (NEARLY , you should still ban some people and delete some horrible topics).

If this keeps up you might lose part of this awesome community and I rely don't want that. I won't go but I rely like some people that express themselves better (or worst depending on the point of view) in dev .

So please don't destroy the purpose of dev/urandom .
