I have many server in my basement, however my router reach max of Port Forwarding / Port Triggering. I had 25 on the list and they are still active. My friend told me to use DD-WRT flash. I worry if i can brick my router. I don't really want to having brick on my router from flash.

My router is WRT160N, I already did find in DD-Wrt and download to my dropbox, and later to use if do it.

 

 

Yes, I hosted many server for minecrap stuff. I keep many old computer and upgrade/overclock then set as server and left them for 24 hour. lol

But in all seriousness, go ahead and flash it. It works SO much better than the stock firmware. Don't worry about bricking it either. As long as you don't unplug it during flashing you should be fine.

Ok thanks, it worked for me. I put set up, i think DD-WRT is more advanced than stock firmware. When I finished with forward/trigger forward then I noticed my status's core went %97, but I don't mind, cuz it don't use for surfer network. lol

Well, this post was late. Just going to say did you follow the steps? 30/30/30 reset and etc? Also DD-WRT firmware is always better especially when you have a bad firmware. Examples are probably ASUS firmwares iirc?

My router run is perfect and can handle many server now. I don't see any lag in server anymore. My friend is happy with me.

I don't follow some step but wireless was disabled cuz of processor almost went hit 100% so i keep down a processor. I think i am fine with server router to handle it .
