Seen as the game has been out for 15 days, i thought why not ask you for your opinions on the game.

 

Note: 
Im not the best review nor do i claim to be, meaning that if you have different opinions on the game feel free to share them bellow.

 

Well here are mine:

 

SP and MP

I thought that the single player was pretty decent, it brought more wide open places similar to Crysis 1(But still not as big) and mixed it with some corridor shooting, resulting in an almost a perfect mix. Iit's a shame that it was only 5 hours short. On the other hand the multiplayer is a big disappointment. It is pretty unbalanced, the shotgun is still OP as it was in the beta. And it just feels allot like a popular FPS series with a nanosuit.

 

Gameplay:

The gameplay feels almost exactly the same as it was in Crysis 2, the nanosuit is still a dumbed down version of the Crysis 1 suit, and like that lacks Speed and Strength. The alien weapons are a nice change from the normal gameplay but get old pretty fast. Oh and lets not forget the bow. Its best used when ur playing stealty and is absolutely vital when playing on the 2 hardest difficulty's, a plus is also the option to pick arrows back from dead bodies although there are 2-3 arrow caches in a single level.

 

Visuals:

The game has some of the best visuals currently on the market, from the textures to the lightning there isn't really much to criticise. The only current problems are the drivers which are still not optimised for the game. Meaning the that the game is unplayable at 60fps on almost any rig.

 

Audio:

The audio is decent, the weapons sounds are good but dont really stand out. The soundtrack of the game is great as it was in the second game.

 

Conclusion:

 

Positives:

+ Graphichs look amazing, even on low

+ A few nice addicionall weapons like the bow and the typhoon.

+ Alien weaponry

+ Decent story line.

+ Wide open levels, except for the 1 and last level.

+ Hunter Mode in the MP

+ Yunngle New York looks better than ever.

 

 

Negatives:

- Game runs like crap on almost any computer.

- The SP is only about 5 hours short.

- Multiplayer is very unbalanced and copys allot from the popular FPS series.

- Still the dumbed down Nanosuit

I loved original Crysis, I absolutely adored Warhead, I barely liked Crysis 2 and I wasn't impressed by Crysis 3 MP alpha. This is the first Crysis game I won't buy, I'll just play SP, eventually, I have lost my interest.

IMO Crysis 3 is 10/10 much better then blops dus.

The story was solid.

The visuals are top notch.

MP is fun and fast.

 

But i have to agree its really similar to popular FPS series.

Yeah definitly dont buy it, the MP is just not worth it.

Didn't buy the first crysis, didn't buy crysis:warhead, didn't even THINK about buying Crysis 2 and I'm DEFINITELY not going to buy Crysis 3 and all other Crysis games, because it's only some expensive benchmarking software aaaaaand has become a money milking franchise, like assassin's creed became after Revelations.
