Hello, My friend has recently purchased a server and whenever he tried to join he gets the error "Ping Is To High For This Server". When infact, this in not true as he has about a 30 ping on the server list and some people join with 400 ping. The server cfg has the command sv_maxping "999". I have also tried 0 and removed the whole line. It's not just him having issues it's alot of people. I have consulted the hosting company and they have not had this issue before. We have had it when hosting from hope and hoped a dedicated can get rid of the issue, obviously not... Any help is appreciated as we really want to play! Usually, to fix this error, the command would be: sv_maxping "0".

 

Works on multiple servers of people I know.
